Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated 31 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use oneaiadvisory.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. We have tried to write it in plain language, because a privacy policy you cannot read is not much use to anyone.

Who we are

One AI is a founder-led AI advisory operated by Up Strategy Lab, with a presence in Zürich and Gothenburg. For anything to do with your personal data, Up Strategy Lab is the data controller, and you can reach us at hello@oneaiadvisory.com.

The data we collect

Most of the time, we only hold what you choose to give us.

  • When you contact us. If you use the contact form or book a call, we collect your name, email address, company and whatever you write in your message.
  • When you subscribe to the newsletter. We collect your email address, and your first name if you give it.
  • When you use the readiness snapshot. The snapshot runs entirely in your browser, and your answers are scored on your own device. Nothing is sent to us unless you choose to email yourself the result, in which case we collect your email, your name and company if you provide them, and the summary score you asked us to send.
  • Automatically, as you browse. Our hosting keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure. With your consent, we also use analytics to understand how the site is used. You can see and control this in the cookie settings.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. We use as few as we sensibly can, and we group them into two kinds:

  • Strictly necessary. These make the site work and keep it secure, including the cookie consent tool itself and Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from spam and bots. These do not require your consent.
  • Analytics. With your consent, we use analytics to see which pages are useful and where people get stuck. We only set these once you agree.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies from the banner when you first arrive, and change your mind at any time through the cookie settings. The full, current list of cookies this site uses is shown below.

How we use your data

  • To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, follow up about working together.
  • To send you the newsletter, if you have asked for it, and nothing more.
  • To send you your readiness result when you request it.
  • To keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

Our legal basis

Under the GDPR and Swiss data protection law, we rely on your consent for the newsletter and for analytics cookies, and on our legitimate interests for responding to enquiries you start and for keeping the site secure. Where you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and communicate with you. They process data on our behalf, under contract, and only for these purposes:

  • Brevo — sends our transactional emails and manages the newsletter.
  • Cloudflare — bot and spam protection on our forms (Turnstile).
  • Up Strategy Lab cookie service — records and manages your cookie consent.
  • Vercel — hosts the website.
  • Supabase — the database that stores enquiries.
  • Google Analytics — website analytics, only with your consent.

Where your data goes

Some of these providers are based outside Switzerland and the EU, including in the United States. Where data is transferred, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and to manage a possible engagement, and no longer than necessary. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email we send. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask what data we hold about you and get a copy;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent;
  • ask for your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email hello@oneaiadvisory.com. If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the relevant supervisory authority in your country.

AI and your data

We work in AI, so it is fair to ask how we use it here. Everything we publish on this site is written and edited by people. We do not use your enquiry or newsletter data to train AI models. When we work with you on an engagement, how your data is handled is set out in a separate agreement, and our standing advice is that your data and your knowledge should stay yours.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top.
